wedding bells.

OH MY LANTAAAAAA. Thank you to the lovely jessica yoon for sending me the link to this amazing article!! This article happens to be about the creators of anthro, free people, and urban outfitters breaking into the wedding market. AHHHH. I'm so excited. the wedding brand name is BHLDN, which is a weird name, BUT I'M SO EXCITEDDDD. Jessica, you seriously should become a wedding planner because you knew I would die over this.

This is what the article says:

Brides-to-be rejoice: the creative team from Philadelphia-based Anthropologie, which opened its first store on the Main Line in 1992, is now in the wedding market.

The company that brings you such free-spirited favorites as Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People is debuting BHLDN, a new wedding brand, launching online February 14th and opening a storefront later this year. Since Urban Outfitters, Inc. is headquartered in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, we cross our fingers for a location close to home.

The collection will feature dreamy dresses under BHLDN’s own label, as well as exclusive designs from other brands like Fleur Wood, Tracy Reese and Catherine Deane. BHLDN’s gowns “pay respect to the old, new, borrowed and blue, but each with a wink and a nod.”

BHLDN will also offer unique event dresses, vintage-inspired accessories and, eventually, decorations to complete the perfect day.

We love the momentum in Philadelphia retail and creativity!

AHHHH i cannot WAIT for february 14th so i can look at all of the dresses. HAHA. I'm not even getting married any time soon, but just the fact that one of my favorite companies (who's stationed in philly, which means that it's very possible that the BHLDN store will be here) will be making awesome vintage, but new dresses just blows me away. I love this quote:

“BHLDN’s gowns 'pay respect to the old, new, borrowed and blue, but each with a wink and a nod.'”

sick.

blahh. i've been sick to my stomach for the past few days. first i thought it was a stomach bug because i was vomiting everywhere, but now i have a regular cold and possible ear infections. sighhh if only i had health insurance HAH.

anywayyyy, i wanted to share some random photos that I've saved over a period of time. I've gotten these pictures from the blogs listed on the side panel.

D&G maxi dresses. I've been dying over maxi dresses lately and I plan to wear them every day during spring and summer.

ughhh. i love braiding my hair, but i don't think i can do this to my own hair. I wish i knew somebody who could braid my hair like thissssssssss. (got this picture from fashiontoast)

ballerina project. i've always wanted to be a ballerina and i love the city vibe.

anja rubik's killer legs. and a maxi dress of course.

i love this!! and i love her.

hopefully i start feeling better soonnnn. and hopefully i'll one day post outfit pictures like i always wanted to do hahah. anwayyyyyyy, THE END.

dresses.

whoaaaa. i updated yesterday AND today! quite an achievementttt i would sayyy.

anyway, i'm currently obsessing over white, cotton, flowy, and long dresses and i NEED to find them at a thrift store or on ebay. they kinda resemble edwardian dresses, but not with so much lace and ruffles.

i just wanted to share some pictures.

I am DYING for this free people dress. I really hope I can get my sister and brother to buy this for my birthday present (yes I am aware my birthday is in April).

UGH. i want. so bad.

dun duh duh DUNN! I have found my future wedding dress. if only it wasn't sold out. i really hope this dress comes back in stock within the next few years so it can be my wedding dress. HAHA.

the back. so plain and simple with lace. i love.

THIS is exactly what i'm looking for. i will scour every thrift store possible to find a dress like this. oh yes i will.

this was kind of a pointless entry. oh well.

THE END!

whoops.

haha, the last time i wrote an entry was over a month ago. whoopsies.

i don't have much to say besides for the fact that i've been sleeping at weird times in the day like 11am, 8am, 6am, but never the normal times like everybody else does. i guess i'm not normal.

i've been reading like crazy ever since jason bought me my kindle (i have named her kendall). i love the feel of real books in my hand, the way books smell, the weight of the book, turning the pages of the book, but something about kendall is making me fall in love with ebooks. Being able to look through books on amazon, buying it immediately (on jason's credit card.. love you!), reading AND finishing it while not even having to get up from my bed is an awesome feeling. HAHA, i am SO lazy. anyway, that's what i've been up to lately. yippee kai yay.

i can't wait til i get my dslr camera. it'll give me something to do. finally.

some things that i've been pondering about.

haha, this picture makes me laugh.

i like this couch.

i want this free people skirt.. and this free people outfit.

i want this free people dress.

i want this free people romper.

the free people spring collection is making me want to cry and die because i want everything, but i can't afford anything. BLAH. what is the point of making clothes so expensive. it breaks poor little girl's hearts who are broke but still wants pretty things.... like me. bah humbug.

the end. hopefully the next entry will be before the end of february.

here we are agaaaaaain.

so here we are once again. i have realized that i have way too much clothes in my closets and drawers. jason, taeyee, and i went to ikea to eat cheap yummy foodies and we ended up walking around, looking at the different layouts for bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. Jason was looking through the closet space in each bedroom and was like, "Sunnie, none of these would hold any of your clothes." And when your fashionista manfriend tells you that the amount of clothes you have is borderline ridiculous... i think it's time to do something about it.

Soooo. ONCE AGAIN, I will try my hardest to NOT buy clothes so that I can try to wear every article of clothing in my closet/drawers. I shall document it on here for myself so that I can really force myself to do this. :)

This was what i wore to ikea. haha. and i used my mac to take the pictures because my camera sucks major donkey balls.

The angle i took this picture makes me look like a heifer but whatevs. i also added a thrifted granny sweater that soo graciously gave me :) lovie loves.

american apparel calvary twill pleated pants, old forever21 black sheer turtleneck.

I was gonna upload a video of me singing grenade hahaaaaa, but i sounded dumb and the audio wasn't matching the video so whateva skanevaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS WOHOHOHOHOHO!

depressed dark world.

i should be all happy jolly because i'm on break (not officially since i need to write a few papers due by friday heh heh), but i'm just not feeling it right now. i was so exhausted from nannying in the morning today that i slept until 2pm when i got back. i felt like little miss lazy bonesssssss.

i was gonna share some pictures of me and jason when we went to peddler's village this past saturday, but i'm feeling tired. hahaha. so i guess i'll do that some other day for those few who actually read this blog (probs only chris park HAHA).

i will share some photos that i've been enjoying these past few weeks:

the last three photos were taken from studded hearts

i love the last photo. i want to find a dress exactly like that, marry in it, and live with it on for the rest of my life. i feel like it would definitely be possible to find at a thrift store. good thing i will be going thrifting with my hannies on wednesday :)

sorry blogging world for being probably the only wannabe fashion blogger turned depressed beyond all words blogger. haha if that even made any sense. i started up this blog to try and become some sort of fashion blogger, but it really just became a place where i splattered all my feelings and it turns out that most of my feelings are pretty dark or rather depressing. haha i'm a failed wannabe fashion blogger, who really doesn't have good fashion sense, but loves victorian dresses. oh man, i'm a mess. and i have alligator skin all over my right hand because i constantly try to wash all the "germs" off my hands. after i graduated college i started to become obsessive about keeping my hands clean. i've gone mad. oh well.

i need jesus.
